Money-saving tip of the week
I’ll often buy clothing off SteepandCheap.com if something on my wishlist happens to pop up on their site. Just recently I found a jacket on the site that would be perfect for this winter but the only size available was an XL. I’m usually somewhere between a L and XL depending on the brand anyways so I thought I’d take the plunge it hopes that they ran on the smaller side.
The jacket fits, but it definitely looks too big. I called up a local alterations specialist and and had them re-size it to fit perfectly. So even after alterations I still saved about $35 on a new jacket. Awesome!
