Philadelphia
So I just landed in Philadelphia today where I will be spending the weekend as my buddy’s best man at his wedding. I’m still nervous about a toast but as the day has gone on I’ve started to feel a bit more comfortable about my position and with it, my confidence in myself to write a proper toast, or at least one that isn’t half-bad.
I took the opportunity this evening to take said groom-to-be out to a bar and after 3 pints of Guinness managed to get a good chunk of emotions and reasoning out of him explaining his personal take on this wedding and on discovering “the one” that will make great ammunition for a toast. Off to jot down some quick ideas and get some sleep as I adjust myself to east coast time.
