A collection of things that interest & inspire me

Laptop goes to HospitalMacbook Pro w/ bent SuperDrive
So this is what my CD drive looks like now. How did this happen? I was resting my wrist over the area while typing. Pretty shoddy craftsmanship and totally unacceptable. I’ve sent it in and my AppleCare will cover everything and I should get it back soon. Until then, I have my mac mini set up in the office set to boot from a backup copy of my laptop on an external firewire drive. I’m also making an additional backup just in case things go sour. Say what you will, but being an Eagle Scout has certainly made me a man prepared for just about any disaster.
In 3-5 business days the laptop should be back, the mac mini can go back to being a media center in the living room, and all will be well.
