Brian The Baker
I’ve been meaning to try my hand at making bread for awhile now and have had a recipe stuck to the side of my fridge for months. Unfortunately it wasn’t until recently that I purchased the the large mixing bowl I needed to combine all the ingredients. Those who know me realize I am more a cook than a baker. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I baked any sort of bread/pastry product. Do waffles count? I guess that’s not really what I would consider baking since there is no oven involved. Besides, I have a wonderful girlfriend with far more baking skills than I do, so I find it wisest to leave the baking to her.

The bread as you can see turned out amazing. Fresh bread out of the oven with some thyme on top along with a soup and salad.. DELICIOUS. Incredibly easy too and I didn’t need a fancy breadmaker or hours of kneading dough. I made a few loafs and those that had some were pretty impressed. You can freeze the dough and when you want a fresh loaf just pull it out and throw it in the oven for an hour or so. For those who want to try it themselves, I scanned the recipe for you. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!
