Never Say Never - Tristan Prettyman (via Twitvid)

Love this new tune from Tristan Prettyman. The look on her face when it starts raining during the recording is priceless.

This album as been on rotation in my apartment and my car for the last week. Awesome music that’s hitting just the right mood as the leaves are changing color and the days are getting colder… Available on iTunes and BandCamp.

1) Beautiful sunset driving up the I-5 from Eugene to Portland.
2) Woke up to find that my alopecia areata (autoimmune condition) was back in full force. Sucks.
3) Jessica singing to the Wicked soundtrack on the drive up to the San Juans. She likes to listen to “One Short Day in the Emerald City” as we drive through Seattle.
4) Fooling around on the guitar. Fell asleep on the couch 3 minutes later.
5) Jessica trying on hats at the wool store.
6) Watching the early morning mist roll through the trees.
7) Bought Jessica flowers at Pike’s Market in Seattle on the drive home. Two bouquets of course! One for home and one for work.

I give you the catchiest song of Summer 2011. Can’t get it out of my head!

This song was my pick for last year, Summer 2010.

Believe In Yourself - Sarah’s Karaoke Version!! (by thegregorybrothers)

This song makes me happy. For those who don’t know, the lyrics come from an inspiration speech by a little boy who just rode his bike for the first time.

Sophia Javna from Ashland, OR. This girl is only 17 but what an amazing voice!

Are you, Livin the Life that you always dreamed of, given the time to the ones that make you smile, makin your world worth while?
